2023 Earth Day celebration Haiti Benefit Festival

Two Mules’ Earth Day celebration Haiti Benefit Festival was a great success! Despite the stormy weather early in the afternoon, many folks joined us at The Farm to rock the rain away with the music of Shades of Blue, Taxicab Preacher, and the Marigold Collective. When the Bon Fritay food truck rolled in, along with the sun, smiles returned, and everyone enjoyed the amazing Haitian food.
Our special guests, Rev. Wildaine Andre, Blada Desauguste, and Michael Annelo, who direct spectacular Haitian NGOs, gave inspiring talks about their programs, and how we can invest in our planet by supporting Haitian farmers in their efforts to develop regenerative agricultural practices. We made many new Haitian friends who have made their homes in the Triangle area and were joined by many old friends who have long understood the goodness that comes with this work.
Thanks to everyone who attended and went home with freshly roasted organic Haitian coffee, chocolate made from cacao grown on Haitian farms, and paintings by Haitian artists. We are also grateful to all who sponsored the event with donations. Your generous support is deeply appreciated by the families you help us serve!
